Uno Score Counter: Quick Tally Calculator
No more tedious adding up of all the cards at the end of an Uno round. Scorio knows the value of each card and calculates the score instantly.
How to count points in Uno?
In Uno, points are counted at the end of each round. The round winner (the player with no cards left) scores the points corresponding to the cards remaining in the other players' hands. Each card type has a specific point value.
- Number cards (0-9): face value (0 to 9 points)
- Skip, Reverse, and Draw Two (+2) cards: 20 points each
- Wild and Wild Draw Four (+4) cards: 50 points each
What are the two scoring modes in Uno?
Uno can be played with two different point counting systems. Scorio supports both and lets you choose before starting the game.
- Cumulative Mode (official): the winner of each round accumulates the points from the other players' cards. The first to reach 500 points wins.
- Penalty Mode (popular variant): each player accumulates their own points. The player with the lowest score at the end wins.
How does Scorio's Quick Tally calculator work?
The Quick Tally calculator is an intuitive pop-up that appears at the end of each round. Instead of manually counting cards, you simply tap on the icons of the remaining cards: number cards, +2, Skip, Reverse, Wild, +4. The total is calculated instantly.
When does an Uno game end?
By default, Scorio uses the official threshold of 500 points. In Cumulative Mode, the first player to reach 500 points wins. In Penalty Mode, the player with the lowest score wins when another reaches 500. This threshold is configurable and automatic ending can be disabled.
